Reading, for me, is entertainment and an escape from the real world. But it can also inform and stretch the boundaries of the life I live.
This may be my favorite of the DW books so far. We get to spend so much time with Granny and Nanny Ogg! Now we just need more Greebo.
I especially love how the witches do their best to stick with the prescribed witch role, to the point of absurdity with the "just an apple-seller" and "just a simple wood-gatherer", while bristling at how they are portrayed in the play. Granny's outrage at the deception of theater made me genuinely giggle out loud.
