(show spoiler)This was a quick, easy listen on audio, and the performance by Tom Stechschulte was very good, although he mangled some pronunciation of the medical terminology. The narrative also meandered throughout the story. It might not have wholly kept my attention had I been reading a bound version, but the audio was fine for keeping my brain more or less engaged while doing my Saturday chores around the house.
This was another from the Big Box O’Audiobooks that my friend loaned me. So the score is 1 / 2. I’m going to alternate my own choices with her boxful.
