HP's BL-opoly - 7th Round
I'm just catching up on my BL-opoly posts today, as needed to spend a little more time and thought on the review for my 5th round book review than usual. It's been a little bit of a challenge to get myself reorganized before starting the book I picked the 7th round, which I rolled on 6/7, following my finishing both the 5th (audio) and 6th (paperback) rounds on 6/4.

I seem to be getting through a lot of my impulse purchases from the Friends of the Library sales for this reading challenge. I got this one two years ago, and have no idea why I wanted it in the first place. But according to the synopsis, the story has the main character travelling overseas from her native Ireland to a new home in North America, and her son travelling from there to Vietnam and back, so it meets criteria for this BL-opoly square.
It was long-listed for the Man Booker, and I often find literary books to be deadly dull, so here's hoping that I'll enjoy this one anyway.
