Finished two more short stories, The Illustrated Man and The Foghorn. I’ve always found both these stories disturbing, and not in a good way, because they both imply that a natural response to desperate loneliness and unrequited love is violence, to destroy the one who has disappointed you by not fulfilling your needs.
