Reading, for me, is entertainment and an escape from the real world. But it can also inform and stretch the boundaries of the life I live.
The Book Genie* seems determined to make me read a Romance. This time he's picked Heyer's first novel, which I found for free** at the Gutenberg Project.
* I decided that the random number generator needs personhood.
** I have yet to figure out why Kindle wants to charge money for books that are free epub at Gutenberg. It's a little more trouble, since I have to store it on my laptop in Calbre and then transfer it to my ipad, but still, why pay $3 for it?? And shouldn't the whole Gutenberg library be available through the library Libby app?
