Reading, for me, is entertainment and an escape from the real world. But it can also inform and stretch the boundaries of the life I live.
This was a wonderful collection of Bradbury's short stories, chosen by the author himself. I usually hear Bradbury's work classed as science fiction, but this selection of stories does not confine itself to that genre. Many of my favorites that I remember from school assignments are here: The Veldt, The Crowd, and There Will Come Soft Rains. Best of all, this audiobook featured the author reading his own stories and offering his thoughts about the origins and personal meaning of each.
Highly, highly recommend.
