Reading, for me, is entertainment and an escape from the real world. But it can also inform and stretch the boundaries of the life I live.
I was in a hurry this morning and had just finished my last audiobook, so I picked this almost at random from my TBR list in the Overdrive library. When the intro noted that it was Christian lit, I was a bit worried. But it's been a pleasant surprise so far. No glurge or heavy-handed moralizing yet. It's not great, but still an interesting story.
